FAQs
Who is eligible to BE A Distinct Business PARTNER?
At this time, Membership is available to Business Owners and Corporate Leaders.
A business owner is defined as someone with an interest in a for-profit business and has been operating full-time as the company leader for at least one year. This business is also the primary source of income for the business owner.
A corporate leader is defined as a President or C-level executive of a private or public corporation.
I do not LIVE IN DFW, IS THERE AN ONLINE OPTION?
Yes. We’re accepting applications for both Online Community Members and Online Business Partners. Online Distinct Partners will have virtual access to all events, online intercession and online Cohorts. Online Community Members will be able to join Corporate Distinct Events online.
IS THERE A FEE ASSOCIATED WITH MEMBERSHIP?
Distinct has two levels of membership. Our Community Membership is free but does require an application to join. We also have the Business Partner membership which is $1,000/year for in-person and $500/year for Online Business Partners. This paid membership includes exclusive events, group access, and intercessory prayer for you and your team.
How often do COHORTS meet?
As a Distinct Business Partner, you’ll be assigned to a Cohort that will include businesses that are like-minded and like-sized. Each Cohort will have a Cohort Leader who will facilitate these confidential meetings and arrange a time that best suits the group’s schedule to meet twice a month.
I’m starting a new business. Can I participate in the program?
Yes. We have two levels of membership, new business owners can join as a Community Member. Currently, you must be a business owner or business leader for a minimum of one year, to participate as a Distinct Business Partner. We recommend that you visit our public events if you are launching your first business.
I do not attend Mercy Culture church. Can I participate in the program?
Yes. We’re accepting applications from members who regularly attend a church other than Mercy Culture Church.
How do I submit a prayer request?
Business Partners can submit prayer requests directly through our Partner Portal.
Do my spouse & I Both have to sign up separately?
Yes, if both of you plan to participate in Distinct, we encourage both spouses to apply separately so that we can capture each of your stories and contact information.
